The UK postal service Royal Mail confirmed a “cyber incident" that caused severe service disruption to its international shipping service.

According to the statement published, Royal Mail said that it could not dispatch export items, including letters and parcels, to overseas destinations due to the cyberattack.

We have asked customers temporarily to stop submitting any export items into the network while we work hard to resolve the issue,” said the firm.
