As for Google search, many users are unable to look for stuff via the web browser and are also unable to log in. Google Drive has file syncing issues, and users are unable to load the app. All three Google apps are currently down, and the problem seems to be increasing.
Most users complained that they tried sending mail with an attachment, but it didn’t work. The mail was sent but not the attachment. The error showed “the operation couldn’t be completed.”
Users have taken to the DownDetector website to highlight the problems facing Google's services, especially Gmail.
DownDetector exhibits that the problem arose around 9:30 am IST today. Google has acknowledged the existence of this outage to G Suite users, saying it is investigating the issue.
“Our team is continuing to investigate this issue. We will provide an update soon with more information about this problem. Thank you for your patience. Gmail sending issues, Meet recording issues, Creating files issues in Drive, CSV user upload issues in Admin Console, Posting message issues in Google Chat," noted Google.
Users have taken to microblogging site Twitter to address the issues faced on Gmail. Memos saying #Gmail is trending on the platform users.
Gmail service has been restored for some users as per the update received from Google at 3:10pm.
