Analysts uncovered a major data breach revealing a Chinese tech security firm's infiltration of foreign governments, social media accounts, and personal computers. The breach highlighted the firm's ability to conduct extensive cyber operations.

I-Soon, headquartered in Shanghai, is regarded as one of the premier private contractors actively assisting the Chinese government in conducting intelligence gathering and other surveillance operations.

The collection of over 500 leaked files from the Chinese company I-Soon surfaced on the developer platform Github and is believed to be authentic by cybersecurity analysts.

These files revealed contract specifics for extracting foreign data through cyberattacks, with targets spanning 20 foreign governments, such as India, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Malaysia, and others. Among the discussed targets are NATO and the UK Foreign Office.

The leaked information offers an unparalleled glimpse into the realm of China's hired hackers, described by the head of the UK's security services as a "significant" challenge for the nation.

ISoon's official website became inaccessible as of Thursday morning. However, the leaked documents from the data breach revealed that the company had gained internal communication access, including email access to employees of foreign companies and government offices.
